PENELOPE Dress Sewing Pattern by Maison Fauve

There are some clothes that you slip into without thinking because you know they make you feel beautiful and can follow you to any occasion. This is what the designer had in mind when they created Penelope:  A pretty wrap dress, comfortable yet chic, a little retro but feminine with its buttoned bodice and the Fauve specialty - pleated details on the shoulder and beautiful sleeves.

And as nothing is more pleasant than to adapt your pattern, the Penelope will allow you to sew a quick and easy wrap skirt as well as a blouse (you will have to adapt the pattern a little in this case but don't panic it's very simple and well explained by the pattern company).

Sizing: EU 34 - 52 (see chart for measurements)

Fabric Suggestions
A light, soft fabric, such as viscose, cotton, linen or silk, poplin, crepe, satin, fabrics between 100 and 180 g/m2.

Fabric Requirements (140 cm wide fabric)

Dress version:
Size 34 = 190 cm
Size 36 to 42 = 220 cm
Size 44 to 48 = 230 cm
Size 50 to 52 = 260 cm

Blouse version:
Size 34 to 44 = 130 cm
Size 46 to 52 = 160 cm

Skirt version:
Size 34 to 40 = 150 cm
Size 42 to 46 = 160 cm
Size 48 to 52 = 195 cm

Supplies

• 7 buttons of 12 mm (9 for the blouse version)
• Thermal fusible interfacing suitable for your choice of fabric
