Sointu is a Loose-fitting T-shirt sewing pattern with short batwing-style sleeves that are finished with wide, brisk sleeve opening panels. The rounded V-neck is finished off with a bias facing, and the wide belt wraps around the waist twice.

Sizing: EUR 32 – 50 / UK 4 – 22

Skill Level: Beginner

Fabric Recommendations:
Pick a medium weight to heavy knit fabric. The style can also be made in woven fabrics, but note that the instructions are written for knits.

Supplies:

  • Fusible knit interfacing: 75 cm (1 yd)
  • Clear elastic: 50 – 70 cm (¾ yd)
  • 3 cm / 1¼” wide knit bias tape: 70 – 75 cm (¾ – 1 yd)
