KIDS STITCH CLUB – Weekly Thursday After School Sewing Class | Age 7+

Registration for the 2025/26 term opens 1st August 2025

Duration: Classes run from September-May

Time: Thursday 3:30pm to 5:00pm

Age Group: 7 to 14 years

Our weekly After School Stitch Club teaches children how to sew and use a sewing machine.  

We may do hand sewing from time to time but the majority of the sessions will involve using a machine.

Sewing machines are provided, as is all equipment but we do require you to bring in your own materials for your sewing projects. If your child has a sewing machine, we suggest bringing it with them, so they can learn on their own sewing machine.

Classes are kept small at max 6 students to ensure a hands-on learning experience where individual attention is given to all.

CLASS DETAILS:

Classes are 1.5 hours long and involve a range of engaging projects varying from crafts/home interiors to dressmaking.

With each project, students skills will build on what they learned in the last one. Some projects will be short and others will take several classes to complete.

Classes are designed so students can start anytime during the year. Students learn to sew at their own pace and take home everything they make.

• How to create a fabric or felt applique

COST INCLUDES:

Use of sewing machines and other sewing tools are included in these classes.

Please note payment is on a month-to-month rolling basis. First month's tuition is debited at the time of registration to reserve your child's spot. The next and subsequent payments will be debited on the 1st of each month until the end of the term or until it is cancelled by you. Please refer to our T&C's for details.

WHAT TO BRING: 

Fabric and trims required for each project (the tutor will advise ahead of class).
