HUSSARD Trouser/Jeans Sewing Pattern by Maison Fauve

The Hussard isn't an average jeans. It is loaded with lovely little details. The high-waisted cut fits well at the hips, leaves the thigh comfortable and is fitted around the ankle. Sewn in a fabric more precious than jeans, it's definitely a strong piece that will be perfect with a little top tucked inside. Fabric Suggestions:
Non-stretch woven fabrics such as denim, wool, cotton twill, jacquard (be careful that the back is soft). If you want to sew the garment in a fabric with a little stretch, do not exceed 2% elastane (or lycra) in the composition and size down on the waist measurement for the size chosen for a non-stretch fabric.

Fabric Requirements: (140 cm wide fabric)

Supplies:

• The pocket bags are cut from a 30x70 cm lining fabric
• Iron-on adhesive
• A non-separable zip of 18 cm
• 1 button of 15 to 20 mm
• Bias tape the quantity of which will be based on the waist measurement
