ISLE Jeans Sewing Pattern by Chalk & Notch

The Isle is a high-waisted stretch denim jean pattern. The waist is fitted with six darts and finished with a waistband facing. View A is fitted to just past the knee with a flare leg. View B is fitted through the upper hips and is relaxed through the thigh with a wide leg. Both views include front and back patch pockets.

Fabric Requirements
This style is designed for 10-12 oz. denim with 10%-15% stretch. Other options include stretch corduroy with 10%-15% stretch and stretch twill with 10%-15% stretch.

Fabric requirements:
Minimum fabric required is listed. If you think you will need more for shrinkage, directional print, pattern matching or print repeat, please purchase accordingly. A minimum fabric width of 54″ (137 cm) is required for sizes 20-30 to cut the waistband facing on the fold.

44″ (112 cm) wide fabric: 3 – 3 1/2 yd (2.7 – 3.2 m).

54″ (137 cm) wide fabric: 2 – 3 1/2 yd (1.8 – 3.2 m).

Sizing: US 0 – 30 (approx. UK 8 – 30) . Please check the size chart and finished garment measurements.

• 1/4 yd (0.25 m) of tricot fusible interfacing
• One 1″-1 1/8″ (25-28 mm) button
• One 1/2″ (12.7 mm) button
