SUMMER SEWING CAMP 2025

Age Group: Kids (8yrs+) and Teen (12yrs+)

Camps are open to boys and girls.

No prior sewing experience needed. 

All Materials provided.

If you're looking for a fun and educational summer activity for your kids, look no further! 

Our camps provide a positive, and safe environment where kids can learn valuable, life-long skills; gain self-confidence; explore their creativity, and feel pride in their completed projects and accomplishments! 

Students will practice sewing important stitches and gain experience measuring, cutting, pressing, and at the end of class they will have a fun, handmade project to take home.

We provide all supplies: sewing machines, thread, fabric, iron, notions, patterns, and more! Experienced students may bring their own patterns and fabric – please discuss this in advance with us to ensure the project is suitable.

Camps are limited to 6 children.

CAMP DATES:

Week 1: Monday 14th to Friday 18th July

KIDS (8yrs+) Morning session 10am - 12:30pm
TEEN (12yrs+) Afternoon session 2pm - 4:30pm

Week 2: Monday 21st to Friday 25th July

ABOUT THE PROJECTS:

All students will complete a tote bag at the start of the camp to equip them with basic construction stitches and sewing machine knowledge. Students then have the choice of making either a gathered skirt or a pair of shorts*.

Additional projects may be added as time allows. 

Depending upon the child's sewing efficiency and time management, every effort will be made to finish the project(s) during the allowed camp time, however, we cannot guarantee that project(s) will be completed in the time allowed.

*Fabrics and patterns may differ from those pictured.

EARLY DROP-OFF / LATE PICK-UP:

Please try to drop off and pick up within 5 minutes of camp time. Unfortunately we are unable to offer extra minding time as we have other groups and we have to prepare the workshop space for them. We appreciate your understanding. 

REFUND / CANCELLATION POLICY:

If you need to cancel the sewing camp one month prior to start date a full refund will be given less third party payment provider fees, two weeks prior to event a 50% refund will be given. After that time there is no refund given.

Refunds are not provided for non-attendance. 
Camp fees are non transferrable.

THE FINE PRINT:

Participation in this sewing camp is solely at the risk and liability of the parent or legal guardian enrolling the child.

Every effort will be made by us to ensure the safety of your child while on the premises. For example, all our sewing machines are equipped with finger guards for added safety.

However, due to the potentially dangerous nature of sewing equipment and tools, we cannot accept liability for any injury or damages that you or your child may suffer related to sewing class participation with Fabric Romance.
