Isle Jeans Sewing Pattern by Chalk & Notch

The Isle is a high-waisted stretch denim jean pattern. The waist is fitted with six darts and finished with a waistband facing. View A is fitted to just past the knee with a flare leg. View B is fitted through the upper hips and is relaxed through the thigh with a wide leg. Both views include front and back patch pockets.

Sizing: 0-30 / UK 4 - 34

Fabric Suggestions:
This style is designed for 10-12 oz. denim with 10%-15% stretch. Other options include stretch corduroy with 10%-15% stretch and stretch twill with 10%-15% stretch.

Fabric Requirements: (137 cm wide fabric)
54″ (137 cm) wide fabric: 2 – 3 1/2 yd (1.8 – 3.2 m)

Supplies: 

• 1/4 yd (0.25 m) of tricot fusible interfacing
• One 1″-1 1/8″ (25-28 mm) button
• One 1/2″ (12.7 mm) button
• #4.5 jeans zipper (see chart for length)
