SEW THE LOOK - SPRING EDITION
Spring is a season of transition, and our wardrobes always see a fluctuation between cool weather and sun-appropriate garments. It can be a challenge to decide what additions your closet needs, so we have put together a seasonal Sew The Look edition, showcasing some trendy spring garments and the best patterns and fabrics to replicate them for your wardrobe!
.
Dressy Viscose
Florals are all over spring garments, appropriately so. Swishy blouses and bias-cut dresses perfectly transition from casual outings to fancy events. You can be bold and mix and match prints and colours, especially with our Atelier Brunette or Lise Tailor collections, which have complimentary colour palettes.

Ginghams and Stripes
Gingham, stripes and plaids can add a playful touch to your makes. Usually being made of linen or cotton, they are great as stand alone pieces or for layering when the clouds move in.
.
Casual Outerwear
There's always a high chance of spring showers, so having light, layering pieces is a must-have for your wardrobe. Oilskin or waxed canvas are great for keeping off a light rain, and denim is a great fabric to give you that warm but breathable layer.

Fun Fabrics
One always needs a show-stopping item or two, and bold prints and textures are a great way to add dimension to your closet. Dresses and skirts provide great length and volume to help carry bolder prints and busier fabrics.
