This is a beautiful ex-designer cloqué fabric sourced from Italy. Jacquard effect woven double fabric with blistered texture. The material has some mechanical stretch lengthwise (note it does not contain any elastane). If stretch is important, you could cut your pattern pieces on the cross grain.
Lightweight and durable, this cloqué is ideal for a more structured look, such as the Neige Sweatshirt by Deer & Doe Patterns or the Ava Skirt by Made to Sew or the Butterick 60's Retro Dress 6582. Would make a great fabric for alternative bridal wear also.
